Andy Lee up for North West Bingo Caller of the Year

At just 21 years old, Andy Lee from the Gala Club in Botchergate, Carlisle, is one of the five best bingo callers in the North West of England.

He will be making a bid for the title of North West Bingo Caller of the Year in Manchester on September 5th this year.

Andy impressed the judges when he sent them a video demonstrating his exceptional calling skills and tremendous sense of fun and personality.

Said Andy, 'I make a real point of getting to know the regular bingo players and always welcome new members too. I go the extra mile to encourage them to come again because I believe that a bingo caller is an integral part of a bingo hall and should be entertaining and fun.'

Andy will go up against stiff opposition in the four other North West hopefuls, each hailing from bingo halls in Manchester, Blackpool, Middleton and Liverpool respectively.

The North West Bingo Caller of the Year winner will go on to compete against the best bingo callers in the country at the National Bingo Caller of the Year contest in London in November.

The victor will earn the title of National Caller of the Year, a trophy, a ?500 cash prize and a trip for two to Los Angeles for the chance to call a live bingo game in Las Vegas.
