August 12 - The online bingo industry is growing and changing at an
incredible pace, with operators realizing that if they do not offer the best
package they can, players will simply move over to another site.
The latest move comes from two bingo sites, Sun Bingo and News of the World
Bingo, owned by News Group Digital, who are shifting software platforms as from
August 28th.
According to a statement by their parent company, the two sites will move
from the current Tombola platform to the bespoke platform developed by the
successful Gamesys.
Gamesys, which brings the industry impressive bingo sites such as Jackpot Joy
Bingo, will introduce Sun Bingo and News of the World Bingo to its platform in a
one-day switch at the end of the month so that players are not inconvenienced in
the least.
The Head of Gambling at News Group Digital, Barry Sage had this to say about
the new software platform: "We're excited to be relaunching our Sun Bingo and
News of the World Bingo products with such an established online gaming partner
in Gamesys. Working with Gamesys will give us complete control over our bingo
product. We will continue to improve and develop the product with our bingo
players in mind."
"We think that it is important to point out that we are not running Sun Bingo
or News of the World Bingo on the Jackpot Joy software," continued Sage.
"Gamesys has built a bespoke bingo platform that considers the needs of our
players. They will be able to enjoy all the current favorite bingo games - Bingo
90, Bingo 80 and Bingo 75 and we also have some fantastic new games that will be
exclusive to our players."
