Philippino Firm to Launch Mobile Bingo Game - 09-25-06

A company based in the Philippines called Tigr Gaming Inc is set to release a mobile phone based version of the popular gambling game of bingo, called 'WinGo'.

Tigr Gaming president, Jody Yujuico said in a recent statement that the WinGo is earmarked for release in the Philippines sometime in October or November this year.

'We expect WinGo to be a very popular mobile gambling game in the Philippines and expect to launch it internationally not long after,' said Yujuico.

The way WinGo works is that a player randomly choose numbers to fill a grid using the games mobile phone Java interface. Once they have done that, their phone will automatically receive a random set of numbers from the Philippine-based game servers via a text message. If the numbers match, the player wins.

Tigr Gaming Inc has ensured that only people aged 21 and up are allowed to play WinGo, which is enforced through a stringent sign up process which requires alot of information from players for identification purposes.

To play WinGo, players must buy locally distributed pre-paid cards.
