September 22 - Amidst profit warnings due to a sharp drop in licensing
revenues this year, Parlay Entertainment has been forced to announce that
one of its best customers is also departing the network for greener pastures.
St Minver has always been considered Parlay Entertainment's biggest
customers, using the latter's platform for its over 80 bingo sites that are part
of the group.
However, it was noted that St Minver has decided to shift its online bingo
sites to its own in house bingo software.
St Minver was acquired by GTech and the newly formed GTech G2 games platform
will now provide the group with its quality bingo software.
GTech G2 launched its Bingo 2.2 at the European
iGaming Expo in Copenhagen last week, creating tough competition for Parlay
Entertainment and other software providers for the bingo industry.
"Bingo 2.2 allows clients to pool liquidity and maximizes the jackpots in the
bingo rooms through its linked games and multi currency functionality," said
GTech. "In addition, it offers a fantastic suite of multi lingual mini games
launching from the game window including mini progressive slots, table games,
video poker and scratch cards."
"The bingo software and mini games portfolio will be updated quarterly with
innovative new feature functionality, to ensure that G2 Bingo remains at the
cutting edge of bingo front and back end development, catering to the needs of
both the bingo player and licensee," added the group.
All St Minver and Boss Media bingo sites will shift to G2 Bingo by early next
year.
Earlier this month, Bingo Boogie made the leap from the Parlay platform to
Virtue Fusion.
