June 12 - In a bid to enter the lucrative and ever-growing European online
bingo market, the leading Swedish gambling company, Tain AB, has
approached Parlay Entertainment with a request to power its new European-facing
bingo network.
Under the terms of an agreement signed between Parlay Entertainment
and Tain, the new network will combine Parlay's innovative bingo products with
Tain's administrative system. The bingo network will operate out of Malta,
providing it with extensive marketing potential.
Tain AB will direct its poker network members, which include Chilli Bingo and
Expekt, to use its new bingo network as soon as it is in operation.
The Managing Director of Tain Operations, AJ Thompson said about the new
deal: "We have had so much interest expressed by our existing poker and casino
licensees, it's a natural progression for us to offer the best bingo solution.
We hope to be announcing another major partnership and another excellent new
product within the coming weeks."
In response, the European Managing Director for Parlay Entertainment, Steve
Cook, said: "We are absolutely delighted that Tain has chosen Parlay software to
power their new bingo network. Tain has established a very strong poker network
model and they see many of their brands ideally suited to leverage a bingo
network and reach a new demographic. Operators such as Tain can extrapolate all
their network knowledge to build a strong bingo network."
The news comes only days after it was announced that Parlay Entertainment has
joined with Chartwell Technology to launch its own bingo network, which will
also run out of Malta. The joint-venture, to be known as BingoNexus is due to be
launched this summer.
