Online Bingo Sites Vie for Awards - 12-04-08

December 4 - It is always a thrill for an online bingo site to walk away with first prize at awards which honor their contribution to the online bingo industry.

With the New Year fast descending upon us, nominations for several top online bingo awards are already being made, and the industry is excited to learn about this year's winners.

The longest running bingo awards, Which Bingo's Online Site of the Year Award, opened nominations for this year's event, which will run through until the end of 2008. For five years, these awards have crowned those sites that made a remarkable contribution to the industry with their quality, games and fair play. Mecca Bingo won the title in 2006, and last year's award went to Think Bingo.

"There are some really great bingo sites out there doing a fantastic job," said Phil Fraser, the owner of Which Bingo. "Once a year, bingo players have a forum to register their appreciation of the fun and enjoyment these sites supply. We are very excited about these awards. Having been running these awards since 2003, we are constantly amazed by the way the market improves year on year with innovation and development."

Bingo Port's Player's Choice Awards means that online bingo players can have their say when selecting the best site from 2008, with winners being announced at the end of January, 2009.
