Gala Coral Launches Everest Bingo Game - 09-01-09

September 1 - Bingo players at Gala Coral will be pleased to note the launch of a brand new game that not only entertains and rewards, but also goes towards supporting a very worthy charity.

The new Everest online bingo game was launched on August 27th and will run for 8 weeks at the site. The game takes place every Thursday evening at 7.25 pm at Gala Coral and promises to add even more excitement to an already action packed games schedule at this site.

Gala Coral said that 10 percent of the revenue generated by this game will go towards sponsoring a 24 strong team of employees who are planning to ascend Mount Everest for charity.

The group will trek 75 miles and climb a staggering 2.700 meters in order to raise money for Gala Coral's regular charity, Sue Ryder Care.

It is believed that the climbing expedition could raise as much as GBP 100,000 for this charity.

All in all, Gala Coral hopes by 2010 to raise GBP 1 million for this group which provides care and compassion for those who suffer from chronic diseases and conditions such as cancer, Huntington's Disease and others.

"We're delighted that a group of employees have volunteered to trek to Everest Base Camp to help raise funds for Sue Ryder Care," said the Chief Executive of the charity, Paul Woodward. "We hope as many people as possible support their fundraising effort through the dedicated bingo game.
