July 12 - Foxy Bingo has taken its marketing campaign one step further by
sponsoring two local radio stations, it was announced this week.
Foxy Bingo said that they would enter into a thirteen week deal to sponsor
two radio stations that are popular in the North of England and Scotland -
Smooth Radio and Real Radio.
The online bingo room will sponsor the evening shows on both stations for a
three month period, a deal which should give Foxy Bingo even more exposure to
these markets. The bingo site is well known for its creative advertising and
marketing ploys.
Not only will the bingo room's brand name be featured multiple times during
the radio shows, but bingo fans will also be able to enjoy daily games and
plenty of promotions to the site.
A special section of Foxy Bingo's site has been set aside for listeners of
the radio to take part in a £250 free bingo game, and this link can also be
accessed via the radio station's website.
The Head of Creative Solutions for GMG Radio Nikki Cameron was responsible
for brokering the deal, which is believed to be worth a six figure amount. None
of the parties involved, however, would confirm the value of the deal.
Exciting Collaboration
Speaking for Foxy Bingo, Noel Rowse said about the deal: "This
is a very exciting collaboration for us as it sees Foxy reaching out to a new
audience with our bingo offering."
"Foxy himself is the king of smooth, so it seemed ideal to
partner with Smooth Radio," he said. "Working with radio legend David Jensen is
bound to appeal to Foxy's audience and we can't wait to hear Foxy on air."
