Bingo Site CEO Resigns - 04-29-09

April 29 - Dominic Mansour, one of the more prominent names in the online bingo industry, has announced his resignation from his post as Chief Executive Officer of Bingos.com.

Mansour also serves as Sales and Marketing Director at Netplay TV, a company that acquired Bingos.com in 2008. Mansour moved from Managing Director, a role he has had filled for four years, to Chief Executive Officer of Bingos.com in April last year.

In a statement released this week, Mansour said: "It has been a real pleasure working with Martin and the team at Netplay and I have really enjoyed the challenge of integrating the two companies and maximizing their economics over the past 12 months."

Martin Higginson, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NetPlay TV praised Mansour's contribution to the success of the two companies. "Over the past 12 months, Dominic has helped us integrate the Bingos.com business into the Group," he said. "It has been a pleasure working with him and we wish him well with his new challenges."

Mansour outlined his reasons for leaving and said: "Having built, lived and breathed the Bingos.com business from scratch over the past five years, I feel like it's a good time for a new challenge. I wish Martin and the team all the best for the future."

A replacement for Mansour has already been found in the from of Gavin Whyte, Chief Executive Officer of Super Casino.

Mansour was instrumental in launching GlobalCom London's bingo software product when he served as Managing Director for the company in the past.
