Bingo Cards |
Regular
bingo cards usually comprises a 5 x 5 block grid headed by the letters
B-I-N-G-O. Each space in the bingo card contains a random number except for the
middle square which is considered a 'free' square.
On every 25 square bingo card, there are only 75 possible numbers. The numbers 1
to 15 are assigned to the 'B' column, 16 to 30 to the 'I' column, 31 to 45 to the
'N'
column, 46 to 60 to the 'G' column, and 61 to 75 to the 'O' column.
For example, B-14, A-24, I-39, G-56, N-73 etc. If the caller calls B-14, and
your bingo card displays the number 14 under your 'B' column, then you can
scratch or tick the number off and you are on your way to completing the
particular pattern you are playing towards.
The many different 'patterns' available in online bingo is what truly makes the game so
exciting. For example, there is the standard 'single line' where you have to
complete a single 5 number vertical, horizontal or diagonal line.
Then there is one of the most popular online bingo card variants - the
'blackout' or 'coverall' where you have to cover the entire board by getting all
24 numbers (the center square is a free square) to complete your board.
The vast selection and range of bingo cards keeps millions of bingo
fans coming back for more and helping to convert countless people into online
bingo fans.
